learned in your course. You will have 4 discussion boards in which you will
discuss different aspects of your reading. It is important for you
to remember:For your thread:
You will contribute meaningful, lively
discussion posts in answers to one of the assigned questions in each forum

Every initial thread should be between 500–700
words and must contain real business examples from reputable
business sources, include research from:

2 scholarly sources,
The PointeCast presentations and/or the
video presentation
Incorporate major ideas from the chapter
of the textbook in which the question was taken, and
Integrate biblical ideas (the PointeCaste
and video presentations provide solid Biblical analysis, which is why
they are required).

To focus on specific points of application
for corporate responsibility. You should not speak in vague terms while
answering the questions.
Please refer to the “Guidelines for Use of
Sources” document found with the Discussion Board instructions and rubric
to make sure you understand how to recognize a scholarly source.
Please note that the PointeCaste
presentations and/or video that are required for use are NOT the same as
the PowerPoint chapter summaries for each chapter. The former obviously contains
audio/video as well as Biblical integration; the latter is just a summary
of ideas provided by the textbook company.
Failure to use all required sources will
significantly hurt your grade.
You
will be submitting your discussion board thread
in 2 areas:1.
In
the actual discussion board area (not as an attachment), and;2.
As
an attachment submitted through SafeAssign (which is a plagiarism program). There is a separate SafeAssign link for

to submit via SafeAssign will result in a grade penalty.Post your answers to the
assigned questions in your thread by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of Weeks 1, 3,

You will reply to 2 classmates. Every reply
should be 200-300 words and should advance the conversation further by
providing new ideas and insights, asking probing questions that get to the
heart of critical issues, and share from one’s personal and professional
experience. For the purposes of citations, every reply must include:

At least 1 scholarly article;
A relevant business article (any article
from a reputable business source—website, magazine, book, etc.—that
discusses a relevant business/ethical issue) and;
The PointeCast or video presentation
assigned for that unit’s discussion board.

Remember to provide new ideas, research, aacnd
analysis that create a clear dialogue with your classmate’s ideas. Go beyond providing basic definitions to
topics being discussed—that is information that should have been provided
in the original post. Your replies
should not read as just another thread, nor should it merely regurgitate
and restate what your classmate has said, or what acyou said in your own thread
from the week before, for that matter.
